Cottage Street Inn is designed to feel both refined and inviting, offering a collection of distinctive accommodations to suit a variety of getaways. Our property includes a detached bungalow, a private cottage, and four beautifully appointed guest suites, each with its own bath and private entrance. Whether you are seeking a cozy and intimate stay for two, a quiet retreat with added space, or a more private home-away-from-home experience, each accommodation has been thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, style, and a sense of ease.

Our layout also makes Cottage Street Inn an excellent choice for larger groups in need of multiple rooms. We’re delighted to welcome you to Cottage Street Inn. To help ensure a pleasant stay for all of our guests, please review the following policies before booking.

Deposit

A deposit equal to 50% stay, plus applicable taxes, is charged at the time of booking.

Taxes

Applicable state and local lodging taxes will be added to your reservation.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in is available at 3:00pm due to our housekeeping schedule, early check-in is generally not available. Check-out is by 10:00 AM.

Minimum Stay

A three-night minimum stay is required for reservations from May 15 through September 13, unless otherwise noted. During the rest of the year, we are happy to accommodate two-night stays.

Occupancy

Most cottages accommodate up to two registered guests. Cottage 1, The Nautical Nest, accommodates up to four guests. Occupancy limits are based on cottage size and local fire and safety guidelines. For the comfort and safety of all guests, unregistered overnight guests are not permitted.

Age Requirement

Guests must be at least 21 years of age to reserve a cottage and check in.

Parking

Cottages 2 through 6 include one parking space. Cottage 1 includes two tandem parking spaces.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are observed daily from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of other guests by keeping noise, music, televisions, and outdoor conversations to a minimum during these hours.

Smoking

All cottages are non-smoking, and candles and incense are not permitted. Smoking inside a cottage will result in a $500 cleaning fee.

Pets

Pets are not permitted.

Damage

Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, including guest rooms, furnishings, décor, linens, and fixtures. Charges may include the cost of repair, replacement, or additional cleaning if needed.

Wi-Fi and Streaming

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Our cottages are equipped with smart TVs so you can log in to your own streaming services and enjoy your favorites during your stay.

These devices are located outside the building and monitor common exterior areas only. There are no cameras or recording devices inside any guest rooms or private interior spaces.

Because we are a small, privately owned inn, each reservation is important to us and often means turning away other guests for those same dates.

We do not overbook, and when a cottage is reserved, we are often turning away other guests for those same dates. For that reason, we kindly ask that all guests review the cancellation policy carefully before booking.

More than 21 days before arrival

If you need to cancel or change your reservation more than 21 days before your arrival date, your deposit may either be held as a credit for a future stay or refunded, less a $100 processing fee.

14 days before arrival

If you cancel, shorten your stay, or change your reservation within 14 days of arrival, your deposit is nonrefundable. However, it may be held as a credit for a future stay.

Within 7 days of arrival

Reservations may not be canceled or changed within 7 days of check-in. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will be charged in full for the entire stay, and no refund or credit will be issued.

Shortened stays

Shortened stays are treated the same as cancellations and are subject to the policy above.
