This is a great stay. We were met by the new owners as soon as we arrived. It does appear they are going thru some remodeling. Our room was perfect for our stay. The owner gave us her cellphone number in case we needed anything. "Don't miss the park in the back. Nice little walk just in time to warm up to a walk on the Marginal way."

All the good things. The room was extremely clean and modern styling. The location is perfect. You will have your quiet time as much as fun time if you just walk 5 minutes to all the hot spots of Ogunquit (the village area). The host was extremely friendly and helpful, they made our stay was pleasant. Overall, we enjoyed our staying at Cottage Inn. What a wonderful trip.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed. Carolyn was an incredible hostess, offering recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Perfect short walk into the city center and not too long of a walk to either Perkins Cove or Ogunquit Beach. 10/10 would recommend to a couple looking to a relaxing time away!

The suite was absolutely adorable and super clean. The perfect location for all day and night activities, beach trips and dinner! Carolyn was knowledgeable about the area and fun events or places to check out while visiting Maine. My dad and I really enjoyed the ease of being able to walk everywhere and really enjoyed our stay

The location was great. An easy walk to the beach and shops/restaurants. The room was lovely - just as it was pictured. The mattress was very comfortable.

About The Area

Our little neighborhood abuts the Dorthea Jacobs Grant Park which is the perfect setting for sitting on a park bench and relaxing or enjoying a quiet picnic. The famed Marginal Way is a mere 2 blocks away and the entrance to the award winning Ogunquit Beach is also only 2.5 blocks away. If you want to explore beyond the center of Ogunquit you can take the trolley and it will transport you all over town as well as to bordering towns. The closest trolley stop is where Cottage Street meets Shore Road. Perkins Cove is a little longer of a walk, but a must-see attraction. This is the working waterfront of Ogunquit and a quintessential New England scene. Watch as fisherman and lobsterman come and go from the hand made cove and the one of a kind manual drawbridge announcing their comings and goings. This is the very spot where you can board sightseeing tours along our craggy coastline aboard a handful of power or sail boats or enjoy lobster rolls and famous rum punches while drinking in the views. The opposite end of town offers the award winning Footbridge Beach where you can walk a long stretch of sandy beach which joins Moody Beach, kayak or wade in the Ogunquit River, or explore the marsh. And... a not to be missed attraction is the Ogunquit Play House. You will want to be sure to make time during your vacation to visit this vintage gem. Broadway lovers will be enthralled by the casual, coastal, venue which evokes a bygone era. The world class productions will be sure to entertain. There is no shortage of things to do or sights to see here in the "beautiful place by the sea."
